SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPMENT INFORMATION

Shipment and Fees

All shipments will be provided by DHL.

As required by International Laws regulating Commerce and Trade of imports and exports, all shipments from LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM are accompanied by an invoice declaring the exact total value of merchandise purchased in Euro. Sale items purchased will be accompanied by an invoice declaring the discounted value of the items.

Shipment date

Orders are shipped from LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM in Rome, Italy – Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (CET) Orders placed Friday after 3:00 p.m., Saturday, and Sunday will be processed on Monday morning. 



LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM ships worldwide using express delivery services provided by DHL.



Estimated transit time after dispatch:



– Italy, Europe, USA and Canada: 3-5 working days, according to the final destination 


– South America, Asia and the Middle East, Africa, Australia and Oceania: 3-7 working days for major cities / 4-8 working days for remote areas.

LUCIA ODESCALCHI shall not be held responsible for delays in shipments caused by weather conditions, international customs issues or any other circumstances beyond the control of LUCIA ODESCALCHI.

We remind first-time Clients that LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM will request Unicredit to contact the Client’s bank for approval of the charges. This verification will delay immediate shipping.

AVAILABLE MERCHANDISE: IMMEDIATE SHIPPING 


Orders with available merchandise are shipped the day after order placement from Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Orders placed on weekends are shipped on the following Monday). In all cases, LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM reserves the right to delay a shipment if the order is not able to be shipped for reasons beyond control. Please note that during promotions and sales there may be delays in immediate shipping.

PRE-ORDER MERCHANDISE: SHIPMENT IS UPON THE ARRIVAL OF THE MERCHANDISE 


Pre-Orders are debited and invoiced the day of Order Placement during regular office hours from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Shipment will be the day that the merchandise arrives.

Shipment Tracking

When the order is shipped, Clients receive an E-mail from LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM specifying the tracking number and a direct link to monitor the shipment status.

In the event of delays in Customs, Clients will be notified directly by the courier and/or LUCIA ODESCALCHI.COM.

Successfull Shipment Delivery

Upon delivery of every order, Clients are asked to inspect the box carefully BEFORE signing for the delivery. LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM packages are carefully sealed in transparent plastic with a LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM logo print tape around the sides of the box.

If for any reason the box looks tampered with, either sign for the package with reservations or refuse the package. In the event that the box has been signed for with an unauthorized signature or there is evidence that the package has been tampered with, open a claim immediately with the courier and contact LUCIAODESCALCHI.COMat sales@luciaodescalchi.com.

If the package is not successfully delivered to the Client’s address due to a lack of cooperation from the client (wrong telephone number, wrong address, absent at address, non-compliance with import regulations) as per the LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM commercial agreement, the package may risk being sent back to Italy at the Client’s expense including any import fees that may be assessed upon re-entry to Italy. These fees will be deducted from any eventual reimbursement.

Shipment Insurance

LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM shipments insurance against theft and accidental damage can be provided on Client request with additional cost to the Client. Email sales@luciaodescalchi.com to request insurance. Once the shipment reaches the destination, the goods are no longer insured.

Return Policy

If for any reason clients are not satisfied with an order, the item(s) – not purchased with a promotional discount – can be returned for size exchange, store credit or full refund within fourteen (14) days of the merchandise’s delivery date, provided that the item is in its original condition with hangtags and security seals still attached. Shipping costs must be paid for by the customer for all return or exchange items unless the reason for the return/exchange is due to a product that is defective/damaged upon receipt. All sale/clearance/discounted and custom-made/sized items cannot be returned or exchanged. LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM is unable to offer refunds or exchanges on Lucia Odescalchi items that have been purchased on other websites or from other retailers. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

In the unlikely event that clients receive a defective/damaged item, they can return or exchange the item. They will be reimbursed in full for the initial shipping costs on defective/damaged items, and if they choose to exchange the defective/damaged items, the new items will be shipped at no cost.

  1. Please contact sales@luciaodescalchi.com for return/exchange approval and further instructions. Please include the Order Number, the Item Code(s) of the item(s) to be returned and state if the return is for a defective/damaged items, or for a size exchange, store credit or a refund.

  1. Clients can choose between three compensation options: 


  • Item exchange: items can be exchanged with a different one if available. LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM will make every effort to process exchanges in a timely manner. Clients will receive the new item within two (2) weeks from the date we receive the item for exchange. During the holiday season, returns and exchanges may take longer to process. 


  • Store Credit: can be used one time only on a future order within three months of the return; is not cumulative with other store credits; must be used in its entirety on an order that is either equal to or greater than the value of the store credit.

  • Refund 
Refunds will be processed as soon as returned items have been checked and accepted. 
For orders paid by credit card, the refunded amount will be available to customers in roughly 10 days and within their next billing statement. Processing time may vary depending on the credit card company. Orders paid by Paypal or by bank transfer will be refunded to the original account.

  1. Returns must be shipped within seven (7) of the return process approval.

 

RETURNS TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Item(s) must be in its original condition, must not have been worn, or altered in any way, and must not show any signs of use, must be in perfect condition and must not be marked in any way.

  • Items must be returned with all original hangtags and security seals still attached, and with packaging and other accessories received with the order.

  • In the case of defective or incorrect merchandise, clients must follow the instructions above. LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM reserves the right to request photographic support regarding defective or incorrect merchandise before authorizing a return for full reimbursement of shipping and import fees.

  • Pick-ups for all authorized returns with LUCIA ODESCALCHI.COM’s courier account numbers must originate from the same country of the original shipment.

  • LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM reserves the right to refuse returns that are unauthorized and/or not sent with the same courier as specified in the email detailing the return instructions. If an unauthorized return is accepted, LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM will deduct a 10% administrative/re-stocking fee from the refund. 

  • LUCIAODESCALCHI.COM will not accept returned merchandised that does not follow the terms and conditions of the returns policy. Such items will be returned to the sender at the original shipment address.
